Boofers Like most towns in the rugged mountains of Pennsylvania, Mount Pleasant is a small, old-fashioned place. American flags wave along the narrow, two lane streets. The gas stations are full-service, attended by clerks ready to pump gasoline. Corporation America hasn’t discovered the town; most restaurants, grocery stores, and clothing shops are family-owned. It’s a conservative, patriotic community, mostly Catholic. The children ordinarily try to leave town at age eighteen, but with no skills or finances most failed. Wedding Update

Thomas and I have set a date for the wedding, August 8th of next year. But finding a reception hall big enough to accomadate the gigantic guest list our families are insisting on is really hard.

I hope we can find a place. But after that we have to find a caterer, photographer,someone to tape the wedding, bridesmaid dresses, tux rentals, wedding bands, decorations... wow. The list is long. At least I don't have to worry about the cake or flowers because my family is taking care of that.

It seems to me that the Brady Brides never seemed this overwhelmed.
